Prof. Dr. Marios Charalambous DVM, PGC, PGD, PHD, DACVIM, DECVN, FHEA, MRCVS ABVS American Specialist, EBVS® European Specialist and RCVS-Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Neurology
Professor Marios Charalambous is an American and European board-certified veterinary neurologist and an RCVS-recognised Specialist in Veterinary Neurology. He is the Referral Head of Neurology at Advanced Vetcare London, leading specialist neurology and neurosurgery services across the DNA Vetcare referral network.
Professor Charalambous has extensive international training and experience in veterinary neurology, with specialist qualifications from both the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Neurology. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Nicosia and has made significant contributions to research, education and clinical guidelines in veterinary neurology.

Dane Walker is the Clinical Director of Advanced Vetcare London, and co-founder of DNA Vetcare Group. Based in Streatham, Dane leads the organisation’s mission to deliver exceptional, compassionate veterinary care.

Dr. Jakub Köcher-Vodnárek is a European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery who brings a wealth of expertise in orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery to the Advanced Vetcare London team.
Originally from the Czech Republic, Jakub graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno with two degrees. After gaining experience in general and emergency practice across the UK and Germany, he went on to complete rotating and surgical internships at world-class centres including VRCC Veterinary Referrals in Basildon and Fitzpatrick Referrals in Surrey.
In 2020, Jakub began a prestigious ECVS Residency in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna. Following its completion, he successfully passed the board examinations to become a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS).
Jakub has published research in leading veterinary journals such as Veterinary Record and Veterinary Surgery, with a focus on orthopaedic techniques, reconstructive surgery, and surgical oncology. He continues to enhance his knowledge through advanced training courses across Europe and the USA.
Passionate about delivering the highest standard of surgical care, Jakub is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients through precision, compassion, and evidence-based practice.
When not in the operating theatre, Jakub enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, and spending time outdoors.
